Assistant Principal's Message
Dear Plum Creek Families,
I am honored to be a part of the Plum Creek family for the 2022-2023 school year. While this is my first year at Plum Creek, this is my fifth year in Lockhart ISD. Previously, I was a 6th grade teacher in California for 2 years and a 5th grade teacher at Alma Brewer Strawn Elementary in LISD for the last 4 years. I am extremely excited to continue my journey as an educator here at Plum Creek Elementary!
I am committed to serving all students, staff members, families, and community members as we partner together to create the best possible learning experience our learners deserve. I believe every child has a unique gift to share with the world and I will make it my priority to help create a positive school environment that allows our student leaders to showcase their unique talents here at Plum Creek.
I am proud to share our campus theme of FIESTA: “Focused on Inspiring and Empowering Students to Achieve.” Our staff is dedicated to holding high academic expectations for our leaders because we know that they can exceed these expectations. As a campus, we are committed to empowering and inspiring our student leaders to take ownership of their learning and take responsibility for maintaining a positive and safe learning environment.
As assistant principal, my door is always open to support you and your child in the best possible way. I look forward to getting to know you and your child this school year! #PCEFIESTA
All my best,
Jasmyn Corley, Assistant Principal
